Lesson Two: Puppet Creation with NS++
In order to make puppet nations (nations that are only used for military purposes) efficiently, most raiders use a program called NationStates++ that makes it easy to create puppets quickly. NS++ is available on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera and is used for a wide variety of tasks on NationStates.
1) Download the Extension
To download NS++ on Chrome, go to the link here and click download. After few seconds, you will see an icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. You can leave it there or hide it in the Chrome menu.
Click here to download on another browser
2) Navigate to the Puppet Creation Page
After you have downloaded NS++, click here to get to NationStates. Once you are at the site, you should see an icon reading "Puppets" in the top right corner. Hover over it and at the bottom of the pop-up menu, there will be a link to create new puppet nations. Click on it.
3) Creating a Puppet
At the puppet creation page, you will see several boxes to enter parameters about your new nation. Click the random button next to the box to get a random answer. For puppet nations, national happenings do matter at all. The name can be anything, but for simplicity, most people just use Name 01, Name 02, Name 03, etc. Be sure to keep the numbering consistent. Let a member of The High Command know the name of your puppets. After filling out all the boxes, make sure to fill out our Jump Point, Aretro Europa (not Aibhilin), in the destination box. Also, remember to check the WA application e-mail box. When everything has been filled out, found the nation and after it successfully is founded, move it the destination, Aretro Europa.
After creating one puppet, change the name and repeat the process for as many puppets as you need. Be sure to edit the name every time. Also, for some reason, for some regions you cannot use the 'move to region' button. If this is the case you will just have to manually move all the puppets. It should work for Aretro Europa though.
